Puerto Pollensa is in the North of Mallorca, approximately an hour’s drive from the capital,
Palma and the airport. It is a beautiful small town with a marina, many shops and good restaurants.
The lovely Pine Walk and Marina Promenade are perfect for that early evening stroll.
The resort has clean, safe, sandy beaches with clear, gently deepening water,
making it popular with families.
The sheltered horseshoe shaped bay is set against the stunning backdrop of the Boquer mountain range. The area is popular with cyclists, walkers and bird-watchers and offers much to see and do. The historic old towns of
Pollensa and Alcudia are within a 10 minute drive; The pretty resort of Cala San
Vicente, the spectacular Cap de Formentor and the beautiful Formentor beach are nearby; Lluc Monastery, Campanet Caves and Inca’a street market and leather factories are within easy reach. A little further afield are the beautiful hillside towns of Valldemosa, Soller and Deja, each with their own port. Car hire is available, but not essential, since local buses serve all areas, including Palma. Alternatively, an excellent train service links nearby Inca and Sa Pobla to Palma.
